Which "Phone Service" is best? - Wednesday, November 02, 2011

Now that almost all phone service in the USA is now Voice-Over-IP (VOIP), which ones are better than the others?

If you are going for cheap price but still need Internet Service on your landline, then 1USA.Com can setup a DryLine DSL Circuit - which would eliminate your monthly Verizon bill.
This is great for people who mostly use their Cell Phones for talking.

The 1USA DSL connection can handle any VOIP service provider, and if your computer has enough memory chips in it to handle the load, you can even use Skype for Video Email.

One of the limitations of Skype is:  The other person also needs to be a Skype member.  If you use Skype to make calls to non-Skype phone numbers, they nail you 3.5 cents per minute.  A half-hour phone call would cost you $10.50.

Instead of just adding Skype alone, you might consider 1USA DSL with VOIP Phone Service.
The only recurring fee for phone service throughout the USA is $3.47 per month in federal line charges.  This will give you a Home Phone Number - for times when your Cell Phone isn't working.  If you still feel the need for Video Phone calls, you might consider Facebook's Video Chat software... but be sure to have the computer's "shields up" to prevent other applications from installing themselves onto your computer.
See our Facebook Security page for details.

IC3's mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime. The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3 provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes. read more >>
