BarryZ and 1USA.Com believe in giving back to the community. Here are some of the things we do to give back to the community:
- February: I usually give away 50 Valentines Day gifts of candy, from the local candy manufacturer.
- March-April: I give out Game Passes for The Works in Wyomissing.
- May: Armed Forces Advisory Committee, and support the annual Armed Forces Day Parade. http://veterans.1usa.com
- June: Buy 100 Reading Phillies tickets - and give them to the Spring Twp, Wyomissing & Sinking Spring Police Departments to use for their families and hand out the extras to kids they see on their rounds. How many kids get approached by a police officer and handed two Reading Phillies tickets? The purpose is to get the kids to think of the cops as friends, not as enemies.
- July: Support the In-Vette-Tational Corvette Show at Bob Fisher Chevrolet.
- August: Sponsor & Supporter of the annual Reading Fair - www.readingfair.org - The longest running County Fair in Pennsylvania.
Also handing out 100 passes for the Reading Fair each year.
- August: Giveaways for Fun Field Certificates for Corvettes@Carlisle, along with 10 one-day Corvettes@Carlisle passes.
- Sept: Participate in Car Shows every weekend that benefits various organizations.
- Oct & Nov: Participate in various parades & Halloween parades with the Vette.
- December: I give away dozens of Pointsettias every Xmas. We also "ring the bell" for the Salvation Army during Christmas time.
Year-Round:
- Various events to generate cash for local non-profit organizations.
- Support the Bethany Children's Home
- I am on the Armed Forces Advisory Committee, member of VFW, American Legion etc
- I am a Board member at Camp Adahi - - www.CampfireAdahi.Org - This is a really neat place for kids.
- I am the Publicity Director for the Blue Mountain Region of SCCA - www.bmr-scca.org BMR puts on the annual Hillclimbs, which has roots back to 1952 as the longest-running sports car race in America.
(I am also qualified as a SOLO Safety Steward and get called to go do SCCA events from time to time - and represent the SCCA at auto racing events.)

- 1USA is a Sponsor of www.SkylineDriveCorvettes.Org, and BarryZ operates www.CorvetteNation.Org , www.FastVette.Net and other Corvette related websites.
- I support South End Gun Club www.southendgc.com and the local Lions Club.
- Reading Lodge #549 member fo 6 years.
In short, I like to give back to the community... and help out wherever I think I would be useful.
And I somehow manage put in 12 to 14 hrs per day at 1USA.Com
1USA still does nationwide Dialup connections, and does nationwide DSL connections, plus if you visited the above websites, you can see that 1USA is also good at building websites. It's a labor of love.
